I use the local library, and download e-audiobooks - I use MP3, so do not know if it works with the Ipods - cost is free.
HTH -
I listen to them all the time. However you have to first download the file and then use a program called wmaconvert to be able to download it to your ipod. becouse of a security certificate issue. It is only ten dollars or so and the graphic audio is about ten dollars a book if you download from the website. I do about 2 books a week. They are audio dramas with a full cast and sound effects.
-
Actually, if you have the newest version of iTunes, it will convert .wma files into .acc or .mp3 files for use on the ipod.

Graphic audio files have the DRM, Digital rights management protection and it is that that ipod will not convert. That is what the wmaconvert does. The DRM is like a copywrite protection. Correct me if I am wrong on this.
-
Not sure about the copywrite on a .wma file. I try to stay away from anything created by Microsoft. I have used the convert function on itunes when a wma file was all i could find. -
Listen To Books On Your Apple iPod. That is a great palce to get Audiobooks for iPods and the like! I have used Audible for many years now.

I would like to know what other people are listening to...
I like Richard Ferrone as a narrator. My taste in authors--John Sandford, Jeffrey Archer, Stephen Hunter... and even though I'm a guy, I'll admit to liking Jane Austin and the Bronte sisters. -
Bit Torrent
