i think Tyson has a employee cafeteria where cooking is actually done, and if so, how can you beat that over food at a truck stop...??

Tyson contracts some of their yard dog jobs out. I know Hirschbach does it at some and there are other meat haulers that do too. But Tyson has their own at some plants. So check and see who's doing the job. Tell me which plant and I can probably tell you. There are soooooo many of them though.

 

ask for a yard test....moving trailers around, drop and hook....etc,etc...

 

tell them you'll work for a day for free to prove yourself, chances are if you are as good as you say, you'll not only get the job but get paid for the day you said you'd work for free.

 

the yard jockeys at Tyson Foods in Dakota City, Ne. get $10 to $12 an hr. no experience needed, they train. no cdl either because they don't go off the plant site.
