It's all fine and dandy if all you're making now is beer money. But, what happens down the road when you're trying to live off a lower than poverty line income from Social Security? I'll bet then you're kicking yourself in the butt for not seeking out an income that allowed you to invest for retirement. Just because it's good enough to pay your bills doesn't mean anyone should work for peanuts. Attitudes like that just allows the crappy companies to keep perpetuating the sorry ### low wages. Yes maddogpi...$400 would definitely suck. That would be too far below minimum wage to settle for.

Lets see if my caclulator didn't lie to me thats 5.71 an hour. I bet you can find a bunch of jobs for that kind of money. Flip bugers dig a ditch or about 1000 other low pay part time jobs and not even go to school or leave home. so why would you be away from home for ever and put up with SNI bull for that. Wake up to reality your the type they keep around for ever so they can point out how happy you are with nothing when every one coplains about the wages.Your hurting your self and the whole driving community for working for chump change.

the diffrenance in pay depends on your/mile, and your dispatcher tick them off and you will get squat, treat them right and they will work to get you the miles ( if you travel at 60mhp for 10 hours for 5 days you will travel 3000 miles and at 0.30/mi you would make (before taxes and other expences) $900) but that is staying a constant 60 Mph 10 hours a day 5 days a week.

is that the pay the first 6-8 weeks most companies do that the first few weeks, then they should start you on your per mile pay and you will make more than 350-400/wk
