DAC Report

    While applying for driving jobs I noticed that one application said all inquiries went through Hire Right solutions and I can request my own report. So I requested my own report and there is nothing that I didn't know on there, pretty clean. My question is, on the DAC report it showed a company I applied for had pulled my license and employment history. If I do not go and work for them would that show negatively on my report?

    NO..a DAC report is much like a credit report. your file can be pulled at any time just as long as you signed the papers allowing this...

    you are as you know, entitled to one free report each year, OR you are entitled to a free report if you were denied a job because of a DAC report..

    but do not plan on a second "freebie" as when you are turned down for a job, they never tell you it was due to a bad DAC.....unlike your credit history, the credit card company/bank notifies you about a bad credit report, and you go from there.

    THE INFO THE COMPANY GETS IS NOT THE SAME THE DRIVER GETS!!!!!!!!The company gets specifics, the driver gets nothing but who checked it!
