GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be less dangerous for everyone than tailgating a truck for miles to catch someone, Kansas enforcement does mean business.

It's about time law enforcement decided to see what we see here in the real world. Kudos to Kansas for taking the initiative! I hope more states follow suit.

WHAT a great idea~nice to see someone finally will get the TRUE idea of what its like out there.....
-
watch it will end up backfiring...
1000 trucks ticketed for dangerous moves, 3 cars

I think it is way past time for this to happen. I think that all states should be doing this, and not only on a 7 week basis, but on a 24/7/365 basis.

Dittos...it's about time! Thank you, Kansas, for taking the lead! If a large portion of the lower 48 states law enforcement agencies adopted the, "Kansas Program," law enforcement could rake in millions of dollars. I'm sure most of the revenue would be from 4-wheelers. Remember, it's about 75% of 4-wheelers that cause big rigs to crash. It would get widespread media coverage, and hopefully, the 4-wheeling motoring public might get the message about how to drive around big rigs. Hit 4-wheelers hard in the wallet! Is this a pie-in-the-sky dream to have a majority of the lower 48 states adopt the, "Kansas Program?" We can only hope. Way to go Kansas!

WA state has been doing this for some time.
To the point that AAA has mentioned it their news letter to their customers.......or so my sister says. -
If it IS 1000/3, then it is 1000 trucks that needed slowing down anyway.
especially if it includes some of these "cowboys".......
we have seen them all....
they tail-gate cars and other trucks
and "push" them down the road.
I don't know if they are screaming at 'grandma' to get out of the way over the CB or not;
I seldom turn mine on at all anymore;
too many "cowboys" on the radio too.
