Tiger58 I think you just got on Mama Swift's bad side, and I do not think I would want to be on her bad side.

My "mentor" took me out of my "comfort zone!" ohhhh......nooooo....ooooh! Man I miss the old days when you would of been well within your rights to give that trainer the beating he deserved! This business has really gone to hell.

Wow is this Swift policy to make a driver feel uncomfortable while driving were is the safety there. 2nd the mentor made him back up on a one way street at the Phoenix head terminal were is the safety there. And 3rd the hygiene problem of not taken a shower can make some one go off one some. 4th he is not eating right can cause a driver to not have the Proper protein he needs to stay awake on the open road. And you are here talking about someone sitting behind a computer when someone is Jeopardizing people life's on a open road WOW.

I think dude needs to go back and read all the thread as he is not savvvy to what transpired and hasent got an idea of what he is spewwwing about if he got caught up he might see things different. blue chose to stick it out the two more weeks just to get it over and get out on his own and as far as spewing what you obviously know nothing about makes me wonder what kind of mentor you would be

    PainNdaNeck Thanks this.

Nevermind, I have neither the time nor the inclination to banter back and forth about he said/she said BS. There was never an accusation of lying. Only commenting, in a back hand sort of way, about a situation that is/was SOOOO over the top that it could have easily been fabricated. I believe I said "MIGHT be simply made up". To not acknowledge the sheer insanity of the allegations, is to ask all the rest of us to accept that this normal. And yes I do have 11 years in. 6 OTR and 5 local/spotting. As I do not feel to worship at the Alter of Injun, I will bid you all good-bye and safe trails.

I think the trainer could care less about his job and training the drivers everything they need to know about driving trucks and safety. He seems very sure of himself and thinks he can do no wrong with the company holding his job and position, but believe me, one day, someone will really raise a stink about his rudeness, and his casual, crude behavior, and he himself will be sleeping in a truck with no where to go to the bathroom or to eat...karma always comes around to kick your ### when your least expecting it.
    Have a safe trip you all....Blessings, Bradsmom60

In a "back handed sort of way? In other words, you think the OP is making it up. I hope when I am out there, I will be afforded the chance to worship at the Alter of Injun, and anyone else who is willing to take the time to help me if/when I feel I am at wits end. I am positive I will need a sounding board to voice my frustrations. From reading this forum, This lady, amongst many others, has gotten involved and provided hands on assistance to those new drivers (especially Swift drivers) who haven't yet developed the skills and ba**s in how to deal with their trainers, DMs or other problems OTR , and does so without being snide or demeaning towards the newbie in the process. She should be respected for that.

That's just sad. I managed to survive 52+ years without her influence in my life, I suspect I'll manage just fine without it for the remainder. Every pack has an Alpha. I'm just 'tickled pink' that blue and and the rest of of her 'flock' have an Alpha road Mama to look out after them. :biggrin_25514: Perhaps those of us 'grown up men' that had a 'set' before we set arse in a truck wonder what this young-un is going to do when he gets cut loose from hell. Myself...I won't predict other than to suggest he start standing up for himself. "Ya just gotta get mean, I mean just plumb dog mean" (Clint Eastwood)

    wurks alot

    I know...goodnight...had to comment on being skeered:biggrin_25523:
