accident on us220 in virginia

    There was an accident tonight involving two big trucks. Those of you that have traveled this road know it is a dangerous one with no shoulders many blind curves and hills. Well the truck on the northbound side lost it around a curve and slammed into a southbound semi, killing himself and the other driver. Both trucks burned to the ground. Just remember it only takes one time going too fast to kill someone. Is an extra few minutes worth your life?

    My condolences to the family I go that way a lot when going from roanoke to winston-salem I try to avoid it at night its not well lit and it has a lot of sharp turns

    I used to run it alot. Definitely not a good one to get sleepy on.

    Traveled that route just last Friday night for the first time, did not like it very much with all the curves, but just took my time and was thankful I was pulling a light load. God Bless their souls and families, such a sad situation.
