yeah, Oklahoma is ridiculous. Cars and trucks stranded all over the place. If you plan to exit off the interstate, you'll need chains to navigate the secondary highways and local streets. And most of the interstates and turnpikes are closed.

Shoot im in stradford,mo at exit 88 at the circle k and there's some parts of the lot that has 2 feet of snow...not to mention all the trucks stuck in the open that were just navigating thru the place.. I don't know when ill make it to dallas.. hopefully by Thursday.. pretty bad stuff over here..

 

I heard on a Chicago radio station that I-80 was shut down, both ways, from MM112 (approx.) to MM 55 (approx.)------this was 2030 Central time.

 

Sitting here at the rest area past exit 122 on I80 w, listening to the thunder and watching the lightning, man this is crazy!

 

Were getting thunder snow as i'm typing this in central IL. We got around 6" to 7" already and its only been snowing since 13:00 hr's. I looked out the window and it's hard to see street lights 1 block away. I just checked IDOT's weather map and most of the state is said to be 100% snow or ice covered. It does not say the roads are closed but I wouldn't be suprised to find most areas impassable. Stay warm, stay safe. our prayers will be with all you stuck out there tonight.

 

I-39 Closed from the 1MM to the 99 From reports I got from a Driver for US Foods here in Streator. So Basically I-39 is Closed from the Start of it to the I-88 Interchange. I-80 is Closed from the 112 to the State line headed West find a Parking space guys your going to NEED IT.
