I was a Driver until my license got suspended thx to CRST. I was driving from the Terminal in Fontana, CA to drop a load that was going to be early in our yard in OKC. I told them in Fontana that I needed a new Insurance Card as mine was about to expire at Midnight instead of doing what I knew was right and not leave till I had my Insurance card as most drivers know if the wheels aint rolling i aint getting paid so I split. In 5 years I have never been stopped by DOT well it was 1 am my Insurance Card had been expired 1 hour DOT in Arizona had pulled me in for a paperwork Inspection. lo and behold they Issued me a "Fix-it-ticket" and I called Safety and they told me theyd fax the Paperwork off I left CRST not too long after that too take care of my wife and lo and behold a month after my court date I was driving my 4-wheeler and pop I was in Jail for driving on a suspended License. I am currently in a Law Suit with CRST they are claiming that I never reported it thank God for Cell Phone bills and an understanding attorney. Hopefully I will See yall out there remember keep the clean side up and the dirty side down

I agree, it's always been my experience that you fax to the scale house, they usually don't let you leave without that. Didn't you also say you left the terminal? Didn't they have copies of the insurance cards there or a fax, I would think a call to dispatch would have gotten that squared away before you left. I'm just confused, seems like such a small issue to have your license suspended and jailed for.

Should've never left the terminal without the proper permits.

Why would you let the Carrier take care of a ticket issued to you? You think they are your mamma?

I agree. Why in the world would you leave the yard without the proof of insurance, knowing you be placed OOS for it? Five years, you've never been DOT'd, but finally, ONE HOUR after the insurance expired, you get DOT'd?

Folks, there's way more to this. Unless I'm mistaken, or this driver just wasn't thinking right.

You have to know there's alot more to this story than is being told. Fools always make themselves out to be victims. It's always easier to blame your shortcomings and failures on something or someone else.
