well if you bought it cash and its in good enough shape to last a year or two without any problems I'd say you did pretty good depending on what you paid for it lol.

well thats good to hear, I hate to see people make BIG mistakes right out of the gate going O/O.
Yea I see the truck prices but have you seen the fuel prices??? or hear what there expected to go up to! lol
But at least your going to be leased onto a good carrier, im not sure what WS pays our O/Os but all of the ones i've talked to seem happy.
and since your paid for you can always park it if fuel gets too crazy...
If all goes to plan I'll be right behind you on this in about a year maybe 2.
Congrats!

Most non egr trucks are 2003 or older, you might find a couple 04's without it too.

Sitting in a Motel 6 in Ontario, CA paid for by the repair company since the flywheel, clutch brake and clutch are costing over $4,000!!!!
$3444 for parts, $1821 just for the flywheel...I left the TA this morning, went to my delivery, everything was running fine, when it was time to leave I couldn't get the trans to slow down so I could put it in gear, had to REALLY jam and grind it in...Went right back to the TA, since it was only 5 miles away and I knew they had a shop, plus I had no idea where else to park...Their shop looked at it for 5 mins and said it's the clutch brake and they couldn't fix it, $54 later I was on the phone with Mike in Missoula getting names and numbers of places I could take it...They couldn't get a flywheel until 3-5pm tomorrow so they put me up in a hotel for the night...Sucks, had a nice 1000 mile run to OR that loaded 3 miles from my last stop and couldn't make it...Hopefully they can get it done earlier and I can still get that load...Otherwise it could be a long weekend...At least I'm stuck in a place where it's 60 degrees and sunny!!!!!! -
Haaa hah, must be past AT's bedtime his laptop said it is night night time...

When you get as old as I am will have a few come back lines as well -
Ouch. Well, let us know if you get stuck there. I can point you in the direction of decent entertainment in the area. Ontario Mills Mall is on the other side of the freeway up an little bit, cheap cab ride. You'll wander around in there all day and still not find everything.
