Dumb question about a 13 speed trans

not really, 10spd can be direct drive (1:1) or overdrive, 13spd are all OD with varying ratios. If I was informed correctly, the 13's with the O pattern is a double OD (put it in the dash to go fast.)

 

Thanx W.C.P this helps. I learned on a 10spd and was pretty mixed up seeing the 13. Seems like you can't think of it as a 13 spd but a 8. Do your 1-4 low range then think 5L, 5H, 6L, 6H etc... I had too many numbers in my head. Just all messed These videos make it look so easy. As does my trainer. Just wish I didn't draw blank when I try myself. The guy thats training me is being very patient and I am very appreciative.
