CRETE - A Year in Review

Here is a question for you guys...as you know I am ready to hit Crete in the next few weeks. Are they giving the new guys the old, crap trucks or are we gonna get something recently new? Cascadia, International Pro-Star, etc...??

 

My uncle works for Crete and he loves it. He has been with them for ten years now. He is home every 12 days.

 

..noted your age, you have to be 21 to drive interstate OTR so you'll have to wait until your 21 to apply there so keep that in mind..

 

i know im gonna be 21 in march anyway(next month) besides i dont have cdl atm lol

 

i just went to crete carrier to get more info. only rant thing about this is age requirement is 22. even law say you have to be 21 to do otr(interstate) so i dunno what other option i would do lol. they seem nice and honest even gave me trucker instructor for my trucking school XD

 

Yep, they want one year plus your 21. Patience, they are worth waiting for the opportunity. Would it be as rewarding if it were easy? You can always start at another company and transition upon success. It will improve your experience and enhance your satisfaction.

 

how often do crete driver's get paid wweekly or bi-weekly

 

I put my app in at Crete last night. Hope to find out something the middle of next week.
