the Pilot has the Perkins in it, I have no complaints about the dinner i had there

 

I was in the Perkins there a month ago, and I couldnt get anyone to wait on me, so I got up and left...

 

Sign on Perkins door said that construction starts 2/7. Saw that today. Lord only knows what Pilot is going to turn it in to.

 

Breezewood is crowded, trashy, and expensive ... roll after fueling there, IMO.

 

Emlenton sells the warmest blankets that you can foldover and sleep on,and use your sleeping bag for a cover. And their blueberry pancakes are as fluffy. How is their apple pie?

 

The Breezewood T/A is a very nice, clean place. The resturant and buffet could be a bit better. The store could dump their instant coffee station and brew some real coffee. They are using an instant, liquid concentrate like coke or pepsi syrup that is mixed on demand in a dispenser. Its better than powdered instant, but not as good as fresh brewed. I think its Maxwell House. They arent carrying the usual T/A coffee in the stores for some reason.

 

Yea the pilot is a little too busy at the counter and the place is showing some wear, but you cna walk to Quiznos,Pizza hut, Bob evans,Denny's,Starbucks, and the Perkins has good food, and when you leave for westbound 76 just go rt then rt
