I'm going to train with Swift and I don't have any second thoughts about it. I've read all kinds of bad things about every company out there. To me a job is a job and if you treat it as such you will make out ok. If not, move on.
Swift, had a dumb swift driver hold up the shipping dock

Good Luck and good attitude. It's good to go into a company with eyes wide open to help avoid pitfalls. I do feel bad for Swift drivers only because as soon as someone sees that truck they assume the driver is an idiot. Idiots come in all sizes and from all different companies.

If they drive circles arround me I will be calling the cops because they are probaly drunk or high on drugs. Tell all of your drivers to use the swift name to their advantage

Hey mr dispatcher, we had a couple of drivers play stupid in our yard, both from the same co. First driver we put in a call to dispatch, second driver cost his company one week of "no loads" translated, that means the dispatcher being a dork and not responding, by communicating the problem to his drivers cost his co. 16 loads that our back up carrier was happy to jump on.
Do your job!!! Never mind the B.S. -
Its not that hard to believe. I graduated from the U of Minnesota with two degrees. One degree was in fisheries and wildlife, the other was biology. Many of the classes overlapped so it was not that hard. After I graduated I got my CDL that summer. I planned to drive truck until I found a job working for the DNR. These jobs are very hard to get and many positions were getting cut. I figured I would drive for a year and if I didn't have a good job I would go back and get my masters. It turned out I really enjoyed driving and thought it paid better also. Now I understand about more benefits and pensions. Anyways, its ten years later and I'm still driving truck. I work for a company 7 days then take 7 off. On my off weeks I do what I truly enjoy, hunting and fishing.
Don't rip on someone just because he went to college.(not kcorey) Its just makes you sound jealous, like you were not smart enough to go. Now, if you want to rip on him for working for Swift go right ahead.statikuz Thanks this.
