I use Rainex on all my personal vehicles and I love it. Get up to 40 mph and I can turn the wipers off, no matter how hard it is raining. There is no sheeting. It beads up and runs off.

Have any truckers had experience with it and what are your thoughts?

I bought some last year when I ran out of the McGuire's stuff that came in my "gift set"....I freakin love it. Use it on the Pete, the my pickup, and the wife's car. Cleans the bug juice off and water beads up and rolls out.

I tried it on the truck when I was with my mentor.
I liked it better with my cars.

There is a dead zone in the middle of the windshield, so it is not that effective for most of the windshield. Add to that the smearing effect you get while using wipers and it makes it fairly useless, except for the spots near the edge where the wipers don't reach.
With the wipers going there is a very fine smear. It clears up after a couple seconds, but it still restricts your vision. It is especially bad at night with oncoming traffic in a poorly lit area.
I stopped using it very quickly, but it takes some time to wear off so it was a pain in the ... for some time.
I was in an '10 International ProStar, by the way.

I use it when I take a shower once a week and I don't need to use a towel when I get out of the shower!

You can brush your teeth with it too and the Kool-aid won't stick to your teeth!

I love Rainx, Have been using it for a while also I recommend the Extreme clean you use it like a wax works very well and I did notice a difference.

I have never used the stuff you apply to the windshield as a treatment. I use the additive to the washer fluid or the premixed stuff if it is on sale.

Use it and the blades on all the personal cars and the Pete. I have been thinking of treating the mirrors and side windows with it as well one of these days.
