Swift, Werner, Western Express US Xpress

There is truth to what Zyk is saying. My husband was thinking about going with USXpress but they do require you to sign a paper that you have to drive team for at least 6 months before you get first seat. They dont guarantee solo.

 

A buddy of mine just left USXpress, I guess they making all drivers from Florida go teams now.

 

Currently speaking of dealing with the company.... They do not have their acts together in this company. They send you off on loads that are totally not meant for certain equipment that they run. When told to the DM at hand, they say do it anyways. When told hey I only have such and such hours, they say run anyway.... When in need of the cash advance that is there for the drivers, it is always a hassle for them. You can call and ask for it to be done and it doesn't get done.. then you get in touch with someone diff and they wont give you the real amount. This company has screwed pay since the beginning and the pay stubs don't make sense.. when wanting to talk to payrool you can only do so over the phone, never in person ...... Yes orientation is NOT paid and it is very ridiculous.... If you ever go to a terminal plan on being there for forever.... Nashville is the worst.. got an issue within the truck plan to stay and have a crappy check.. don't have a thing wrong at the gate, wait they will find one for you and keep you there for days on end. OOo.. also.. you get your load and you read your screen.. get moving along..all of a sudden the reciever calls cause where are you!!!! So in so in the office said you'd be there by this time! Even though that person in the office knew differently!!! They lie to these people, hand out the drivers numbers and then they have to deal with the mess that the company made..

The drivers are what makes these companies boom, yet they get treated like crap... I have dealt with swift (also horrid), tmc ( not bad, but has gotten pretty big over the years) and melton ( has been GREAT) .. now this company.. this company needs to rethink its situations within... its needs a serious wake up....

My son is loving his dedicated regional account with Swift.They keep him running and he gets his reset at home once per week,he's dedicated to P@G.

 

I use to work for western express. Pay sucks and trailer are lousy. Western runs alot of frieght up in the Northeast like New York City and Maine.
