Good deal man, did you get the endorsement as a "just in case" or do you plan on putting it to use full time in your career?

I am also going to get my Hazmat fairly soon in CA

Once you have the hazmat endorsement If you dont get an automatic license renewal do you only take the Hazmat test or do you have to take all the endorsement tests over?

It looks like the TSA's fees are $89.25

Whats the DMV's fee to take the hazmat test?

Do you also need to do a finger print check before you fill out the TSA application?

Each state is different. In Calif. you do the Background Check and get fingerprinted after you take the test. Calif also requires you to go in and take the HazMat test when you renew your license. License renewal is/was $34 plus the $89.25 for the TSA check.

Just talked to a guy today who has had his HazMat for a long time....said he only goes to DMV every 2 years and takes his endorsement test....not a TSA check, that was only in the beginning..
