    I dont mind the e-logs. Just have to trip plan better, and make sure to stop a little earlier. Ive put just shy of 3600 miles on the truck since getting it last friday.

    I was going up Monteagle Friday with 78,800 and was struggling at 35 MPH in 8th gear all the way up. I think it is dangerous.

    So you do get layover/detention/breakdown pay?
    What about ezpass/prepass?

    So confused about this company.......either i hear GREAT things, or i hear BAD things, nothing in between....

    BamaTrucker, you do get layover ($40/day) and breakdown ($150/day) pay after 24 hours. Detention, absolutely not.

    BTC does not have ezpass or prepass. You pay the tolls up front and they reinburse. You can get up to $150 draw per week to cover this if you need to. I know there are several drivers that have prepass in their truck, you can go to the prepass website and sign up on your own for that.

    I really haven't heard too many bad things about the company. I'd rate them as pretty good out of comparison to things I've heard from other drivers at different companies, not from personal experience. They don't make you run illegal (and can't with elogs), I haven't had any issues with pay or getting my truck fixed and they're pretty straight shooters so far as I've seen. You probably won't get home every weekend but I've been home at least one day of the wkend 75&#37; of the time

    Sounds good man. It's good to hear you're doing well. And flatbed freight is usually slower this time of year, so if you're doing well now, it should be even better as it starts to warm up.

    flat freight is starting to boom...key word is Starting !!!
