Most of these hire without chemical experience. You would have to call about hiring out of your area though. I'm almost positive you will have a trainer with any of them. Good Luck!

I know Dana Transport has an ad here in Charlotte looking for tank drivers.
They are based in Avenal NJ.
Trucks look really nice...all Petes that look very clean and well kept.
I have a guy down the road that drives for them and have tried to catch him at home to ask about the company.

    Here is the website,

Danas' website says you gotta have minimum one year tanker experience. Also noticed you have to be able to go to Canada. I'm also looking to break into tanker world but hate going to Canada. Any tanker yankers out there know any food grade or hazmat tanker outfits that don't go (or require the driver to go) to Canada?

Or....find you a gas hauler and do 6 mos. clean. Most any hazmat hauler will pick you up.

And don't sweat Dana....he ain't all that he only thinks he is....... he owns Suttles and LTC too. He's also cheap......as proof I offer the condition of his Laporte yard.
    Check it out !
