It is there as well, however, we really need someone Central will approve of, as it is running our truck, leased to Central.

Sorry I meant to answer this yesterday and got side tracked.

Day one is getting paper work and watching a couple videos. As well as if you went to their school turning in your trip planning packet.

Day two is going over more policy and procedures and talking with Payroll and Safety

Day three they give you your Comdata card TCH card and your log in for the qualcomm.

I may not be totally right on all of that but that's the basics of what goes on. Its been 3 months since I did it so its a bit hazy for me.

For the record, Bill (6 pac) is one of the best trainers ever. He is awesome. For those of you that have been around since the like 500 page mark, it has been a while since we posted. We are still with it. Mama Mia and I have went through every dedicated line. We are now running Dole, and liking it much better. It is like Coors was when decent people ran the fleet, not the ones when we left, and definitely not like the Wal-Mart fleet does. We got and chromed out a white 386, and literally have faced the facts that we would lose our shirt if we turned it in, and really would hate to see someone else trash it as their truck, since it means so much to us. So, here we sit, literally 18 months after first posting on this forum looking to put another driver in our truck so we can lease a 389. I love the 386 don't get me wrong, but I really want the long nose and really need more chrome and lights (which I know is really funny to some if you see the truck). We are really saddened to know that what was a class of 62 that dropped dramatically and only graduated 24, was 8 at 6 months. We know that at least one of those 8 is no longer with the company (keep in mind Mama Mia and I make up 2 of the 8). We try to go above and beyond to help everyone out here, no matter what (unless you are on the side of the road, then I'm sorry, I'll holler on the radio to see if you need something). We welcome the new drivers we meet anywhere, and make time to talk to the newbies who need help with logs, or whatever out here. We definitely don't know it all, but we can definitely say this is what you make it, literally. If you let DM's walk all over you and not do what is best for you, then you deserve to be a mat. You have to know what you need and what you can do and then do it. If you don't, do not complain here about poor trainers or DM's or what not. If your training wasn't acceptable, you should have spoke up. The squeeky wheel gets the grease, and trust that is what you need to remember at Central. To the new ones we don't know, welcome. To JJ, Jess, Chrome Dome, 6 pack, and Z, glad to see you are still with us. Look forward to seeing you all. If you see a bright Central Truck, it may very well be us, just holler as we go flying past.

I wondered whether Elogs had a provision for off duty driving. Do you know if all are like that or just Centrals?

Glad to know that Lextec and Mama Mia are still with us. Had wondered.

Saw a BAD accident tonight on I. 80 # the Buford exit(no one hurt), my husband actually went and helped the man out of his truck. He landed in between the over pass between west and east onto the road underneath where we were going to turn onto! SCARED THE HOLY CRAP OUT OF ME!
Be safe, no load is worth it! We're shut down!

next time you are near a sporting goods store, buy 2 15 lb dumbells (hexagonal shaped) you can use them as wheel chocks to back against and slide your tandems. Sounds like the slider has so much rust combined with the weight won't allow your axles to slide under a weight. If you use a curb you might rip your mudflaps off and bend the brackets.

    Jaegur and Jeepintrucker Thank this.
