I've never actually "hauled" a load for TQL but will never based on our past experience with them. Three times so far they have called on our posted truck and said they needed to get something moved and they had "an open book" on the rate. Each time we agreed and low and behold when the time came to go pick it up the customer cancelled. Well I don't know for sure if that is true or they just kept working it and found a cheaper carrier. We sent a truck called not used charge on the last one which was of course never paid. We also told them we'll never haul anything for them ever! Wouldn't ya know it, they called us last week. Would have thought they had us in their system as "do not use". Guess not.

Have never had a problem with CHR other than pricing sometimes. Oh, and getting detention paid can be a hassel sometimes with them. Make sure you get the names of those okaying or offerring any detention. It'll be on you to prove it with accounts payable later on.

TQL prides itself on being the preferred choice for carriers. If you have a specific concern you would like to discuss further, please provide as many details as possible to us at carrierconcern # tql.com (no spaces), and we will make sure that any issues are addressed and resolved.

Just like you took care of a "cancelled" load that another carrier we know took for less than us? Told us it wasn't shipping. How about when your dispatcher thought he muted the phone and we heard someone else tell them to tell us that the load cancelled because the other dispatcher had it covered cheaper?

A ha...so they did it to you too! I guess it must be standard operating procedure like making sur you got a date to the prom early, but if a prettier girl comes along then just dump the first one on prom day. I know, very lame analogy.

Standard procedure for most brokers. Lie, cheat and steal. We deal with a few good brokers, when there is a problem not caused by us they know that it's a business and they take care of the issue. Then there are those from TQL and CHR just to mention a few that are crooks they dont care about the companies that haul their freight. If it was not for us those stealing, cheating leaches would not have a job.

I have been on CHR banned list for 6 months now and they still call us.

We don't haul for TQL and never have based on the very few times we've called on their freight and heard their cheap rates. They put you on hold and through a bunch of red tape before they even give you their rate...got no patience for this. Recently, about a month ago, they started burning up our phone and fax line everytime we even looked at a load in our area. So, we told them "We DO NOT haul for TQL, please put us on your DO NOT CALL LIST . . . the unfriendly agent says "Well I can't take you off Internet Truckstop, so . . . ?!" Our reply was "Then Don't ##$%&* Call Here Anymore, HOW'S THAT?!!!" They stopped calling . . . Success! We don't like to be unprofessional but they were calling both lines at once as well as sending their contract over via fax unsolicited. They are very desperate for equipment right now but you know they still won't come up on the rates...always just been a waste of time IMO.

With ITS you can "opt out" the ability for anyone to see what loads you look at. Can'r remember what they call it,just ask them.

wichris ... Thanks and I actually had requested this 2x since I've had my account with I.T. but your post prompted a phone call to them and they explained I was only taken off "Hot Prospects" and I needed to be taken off "Broker Buddy" also to avoid brokers seeing what loads I looked at AND the "Searching" I'm doing.
