It's not what they can do to you,

just don't lump them ALL in a bad pile !!!!

I've been doing military recruiting for almost 7 years, part time. It's not what you're thinking of, I deal with experienced veterans.

    anyways, carryon ..............

I want everyone to know that I am only speaking about trucking recruiters.

Having said that, I believe if a trucking company needs recruiters, that is a company to stay away from. Think about it. If the company was such a good company, would there really be a need for recruiters? It seems to me that just by word of mouth alone, they would have people waiting to apply. That goes for every company that advertises in truckstop magazines as well.

Please don't tell me that their freight base has grown tremendously and they are trying to keep up with demand. While it might have increased a little, the reason for recruiters is to bring in more drivers since so many have left. And they have left for a variety of reasons.

Some just weren't cut out for it. That's okay. Most have left do to the the substandard pay, benefits and hometime. Almost every company on this board looks the same. Just different colored trucks with a different name.

Yet some people on here are very happy. More power to them. I'm glad for them.

I get asked a few times a week if we are hiring. The answer is always the same. No. No recruiters here and nobody leaves for the most part except to retire.

Stay away from recruiters and recruiter companies. Just my opinion.

    Drive safe
