Do you make .40 a mile, Plan your own trips, fuel when you need fuel, not when told to? So is the oldest truck in your fleet under 300,000 miles and no older than 2009? I see, you are one of the dumb ones that are too stupid or maybe not inteligent enough to handle and be profitable with a EBOR.

    oldschooler Thanks this.

Low miles on a good truck means nothing to a good driver, I have driven a lot of good trucks and I can tell you none of them was at JBS, any driver that has been driving for a long time will tell you that JBS truck are cheep, cheep, cheep

Sorry to tell you all this JBS safety ratting is not getting any better, if they told you that then they lied. I can not believe that Drivers do not go on line and check into a company on the FMSCA web site. I worked with JBS since the start. 1. they had some batter Trucks but they traded down, the trucks they have now are just lease trucks 2. The miles have also fallen, the majority of JBS trips are less than 400 miles with days between loads sometimes, most driver could make more money if they stayed at home and worked at Burger King. 3. They will ask you to unplug your QUALCOMM and your paperless logs, it is a $2,700.00 fine to the driver for that if you get caught and it will go on you driving record. 3. They changed there insurance in Oct, 2011, had a cold so I went by the doctor in grand island to get some meds, that’s when I fond out that it cost me $45.00 co-pay and 50% on meds witch cost me $104.00 so just to stop and take care of a cold cost $149.00 my part. It use to cost 25.00 doc visit and 20.00 meds.
And to the man that said JBS is not new, He is right, the people that run JBS have been around Greely and ran the trucking for many years, from the 60s, they just change the name, stay in business for a few years then close without paying drivers. Then the meat load will go to O/O . nothing new.

    You cant fix stuped

JBS the worlds largest meat producers, JBS is the initials of the owners that live in Australia. Its an Indian name and to big to remember.

Are you kidding, no fridge some have a converter, no kids in trucks no pets and wife can ride one trip a year. 10 spds and slow, they are talking about turning them down to 60, they go 65

Why don’t you tell them the hole truth driver, you can have a rider one time a year. And you better be ready to show a marriage license or a birth certificate for a kid under the age of 21

When you are recruiting for a company and you have not really gotten your feet wet in trucking, someone needs to Tell the truth.

You spend a lot of time in the truck stop, 3400 in 8 days is only 425 a day for those that cant run a calculator.

Because driver a good trucking company starts with hard work from people that own the trucks and know trucking they drive the trucks and over years build up and buy more truck. What I was trying to tell this hand is he as a rooky would be better off at company that new how to handle rooky drivers, and what ou said about hiring drivers with no experience just make no since to me. I didn’t say that.

I was working at JBS when the driver that started this thread, started at JBS, Just about all he said was less than truthful, including his time as a driver. I guess he is one of those low life drivers he mentioned that left JBS. In his words the good ones stayed. YOU CANT FIX STUPED

LOL. Guess you'll have to go and find out. They are getting them in March. I would imagine they will go to veteran drivers first.
