If you want to run hard, make good money, not have a company control your every decision. If you want an opportunity to own your own truck, run your own business, then JCT might be for you. NO, I don't make a penny for recruiting, I don't drive for them.

If you can't handle someone getting upset at you, even yell at you, (Sha), it may not be a good fit. Even Sha admits in previous posts that JCT is a good company, so which Sha do you believe?

Not throwing stones here, but you didn't read all 685 pages, Many people were here anywhere from "waiting to get to orientation to a few years", and every reason they had for leaving made sense to me, I've seen my fair share in this industry.... But don't think that just reading what is posted here is all the research I've done, this has been on going for awhile:biggrin_25525:

    Have you read this thread?

Just curious. Plenty of drivers on this thread that have been there for a few YEARS. I've met a few on the road that are on their 2nd or third truck in 10 years with JCT. I've also met those that lasted 6 months or less before they got out. Very few had anything bad to say about JCT. Some just didn't want to run that hard, others did not manage it properly, and one even admitted to getting buried under maintenance costs. By and large, most JCT drivers I've met personally were making a LOT of money after expenses every week. Look to see when this thread was started. LMB has been at JCT for quite a while.

Yes I am bitter. have taken the truck to other shops just to be told they had to call JCT for approval to do the work. This happens even at Speedco, if you want to use what money you have saved in your maint. accout. 1st major break down, took the truck to Int'l and it took JCT shop one week to decide what work could and couldnt be done by Int'l. They told them to just do the warrenty work and JCT would do the rest. Well they ended up letting Int'r do it all because not much of the work wasn't warrenty. One weeks wages lost. The second time truck was run through JCT shop for annual inspection, was told they were going to take it to another shop to have the filter cleaned out and was called a week later that truck was done and ready to go. 1st trip back out and about 1400 miles out, broke down and took 1 week to get truck fixed. 1weeks lost wages, motel and a very big tow bill, just to find out that the filter had not been cleaned out and caused major problems. Got out of shop and back running. Come to shop to relay load and truck was running rough so had it ran through shop, well guess what down another week. Getting a little tired of this along with some other issues. Yes if you can keep the truck running you might make some money. As you well know the truck payments and expenses don't stop even if your truck is down. Were talking a 2010 truck too. Do not like changing jobs and have heard if you leave the company they will give you a bad rap on your DAC. Will keep plugging away for awhile and see how it goes. Can't afford this much longer though.

Also, I have never had anyone at JCT yell at me. I said I wouldn't stand for anyone yelling at me either. I do not yell at anyone . I may raise may voice when someone makes me angry, but no yelling. Not very perfessional. Yes I have read these post. I talked to drivers for 3 or so years before comming over to JCT. I know they have drivers that have been there for several years. What I said was, you dont see many drivers posting on here that have been with the company for a few months. Most don't make it that long. I think some of you that have been with JCT may still be some that were compamny drivers. I do hope I can work through things with JCT, but one can only with stand so much before calling it quits. Who wants to walk away from a truck that you have invested so much money into?
