This is the third such incident ive heard of recently. It sure makes me much more cautious when walking around and not take for granted the driver sees me.

I never really gave much thought about this till a fellow driver crashed and burned near my home. I really expected to read some thing about it when the company's magizine came out and to my serprize NADA!! It made wonder just how much we mean to the people on the other end of the QC? I'm glad the folks here care even if most have never met the victim, Thak you to the OP for your concern I hope my dispatcher would feel some thing other than who's going to P/U that ld!

were just a dime a dozen to most of the companies maybe very few might care id'e say but not many. i can't belive how many drivers fly in a trk stop not paying attion to there surroundings drivers like that need to be put off the road in my book and tell em to go get a 9-5 job before they kill someone. alot of drivers ##### and complain about the laws and regulations i agree with them on that but with these crazy ### drivers out there not paying attion to where there going and what there doing is only gonna make things tougher on us and here we go again with some more efing rules and regs. as well the ( mill schools ) don't help eathier there just in it for the efing all mighty dollar sighn and i think them schools should be closed down as well

Wow I was at this truck stop then, and right now... and had no idea anything had happened until just now. I am so sorry celadon. Wish I knew a location so I could put a flower out for her. Is the truck still there?

My condolences to the family and friends. I watched the news video and Im a little disturbed by what 2 other drivers said about being careful and watching where you walk, etc. EXCUSE ME, How about the idiots that are goin through the t.s. way too fast in the first place. Some drivers think the ts is a private speedway. 5-10 mph means nothing to them. You can be in the middle of the lot and here comes some jack wagon going so fast you can barely get out of their way. Whatever happened to a little caution. Slow the Heck Down. Im glad I retired. I hope they hang that jerk.
