Just to warn everyone on here about this CSA drivers score. I just spent all of Jan trying to fix incorrect reporting of my PSP report. I have always kept my record pretty clean being an owner operator for Motor City Express. After they went out of business on labor day weekend I found myself trying to find a job after 5 years of happy employment only to get told no because my CSA score or MVR. So I pull my MVR and it looks real good I pull my PSP report to see inspections, that tickets where issued on I was listed as a co-driver on, are showing I got these speeding tickets and could not get anyone to even look at me. The only thing you can do is challenge it using the dataq system they have set up. But it only fixes it at the state level which shows me as a co-driver the tickets shouldn't show up is what I was told. So next level is now fmcsa talked to candis brown there who stated it was right with them in their computer and the issue is a private company know as the NIC. They generate the PSP reports and the federal government sells the the information contained on inspection and crash reports given to them by the states. There is no way to fix the information contained in you PSP report. They will not change it,the only way to protect yourself in these situations is to make a copy of every inspection report you receive and if you have past reports you need then all you need to do is order the PSP report and go to the dataq response website and the states will send you copies of the report either right on the site to download or email it to you. If you find yourself having to look for a job the best thing is to pull a PSP report for $10 and see if there is incorrect info because companies will hire you if you has the inspections from the states. The NIC will refund you your money if I has bad info and they will tell you they are fixing the problem and they will contact you when it is fixed. They won't and if anyone want to say I am lying or I am trying to discredit this system then call the fmcsa and ask for candis brown or even jeremy who works there they are very pleasant people and try to help you also cortney bee who works for the state of Illinois who was able to help get a copy of my inspection and Steve Harwood of the state of Michigan who was very quick to respond and help. Everyone in the government is very helpful because it makes them look bad that a private company who has the trucking companies paying $100 a year plus $10 a report, thinking they are getting an actual government report, getting incorrect info. So be forewarned drivers who run teams at anypoint in the last three years you may have info that is keeping you from getting a job no matter how good your MVR looks. Every ticket you get even warnings that get listed on an inspection report is getting listed on your PSP even if lawyers get them changed the non moving violations on your MVR are still counting on your PSP if listed on an inspection report. If you you have made it this far I want to say sorry for vein so long windedbut I needed to vent this after almost losing everything I own and pawning everything I own and emptying my savings to survive and pay bills because I couldnt get a job after driving for 8 years now and being a responsible driver with no accidents and only getting two tickets my whole life both in my car and one warning in my truck in June felt helpless for once in my life. I hope this helps others thanks ted

rookietrucker and wildbill123 Thank this. -
Use due diligence using that website.
Even though it is secure.
I tried it some time back, and got zero results,
YMMV...... -

I don't for the life of me understand why the hell the gov lets third party providers handle such crucial information as a driver PSP scoring or anything remotely pertaining to it. This should be strictly handled and doled out by the government. I'm against big government, but since CSA2010 is here and spearheaded/founded by the federal gov they should be the ONLY ones allowed to handle and pass along this critical information. This info can too easily be screwed up, mixed up with anothers persons report etc to the point it could become a major PITA to get straightened out once entered into the system. And yes, the gov can screw it up also but at least you're only dealing with one agency instead of them in addition to a third party provider. This cheapens and likens the info to almost being a DAC type report in my opinion. When you need the gov they turn their backs....and when you don't you can't get away from the bastages. The OP's plight is proof of this. Information provider type companies are already popping up looking to slurp their piece of the CSA government baked pie.

That is basically going to be a pay site eventually.
They only have info if your company joins the site.
I don't see it going very far........... -
Yeah that one I never heard of but the PSP report you can order from the fmcsa site is the one companies are using now for pre employment checks that's the one full of bugs and errors. But companies are paying for it lol wasting 100 a year plus 10 a report to disqualify drivers because of incorrect info. I'm just glad this company I got with told me why because all the rest didn't want to tell just very vague and obscure.

I just tryied it and it says no record found and I had a cdl since 1981

But, you are now in their database

The Vigilo thing is a scam anyway.
They are making up scores on drivers based on there best guess.
This is due to the fact that drivers really do not have scores on their PSP reports.
It lists the violations and you can figure out the points that were given. But you have no way of knowing how the FMCSA weights the points from the different basics to come up with a score.
They say straight out that yes, they have a score on the driver. But that it is for internal use only and will never be public.
It is just used when they do audits for focusing on drivers they need to check info on.
It is the company's and Vigilo that are making these scores up. Not the FMCSA. And there is no data that says if the are even close to accurate.
Vigilo does not contract with the government on this. They are just a for profit company that is trying to make a buck off of scared company's.
