CR England - OREINTATION on Jan. 17 - Burns Harbour, IN

Have you ever driven a truck before? If so, I can tell toys better method in getting your license. I went to burns and have been employed with England since October 2010 the truth is you will make nothing only experience. If you started Jan 17 your probably still at the travel inn. I would check out and look for work elsewhere. The problem is if you go too deep its harder to get out. Watch my most they will be interesting.

 

Dude, I have a question, now that orientation has started for you....did they do a hair test?

 

Dont know if anyone knows but have to ask. Does england have a orientation on the west caost? Preferably in washington state? and if so how long it it? Thinking about joining CRE. Have been thnking about driving for them for over 20 years, and thinking about changing career paths within the next year and again thinking about CRE. Originally passed up CRE 20 year ago for the local driving companies. But due to retire and am thinking of going otr again and am seeking information.

 

They only have schools in:
Burns Harbor, IN
Dallas, TX
Mira Loma, CA
Salt Lake City, UT (You would be sent to this school most likely)

If you have not driven (must be able to prove it) within the last 6mos you will probably have to go through their "refresher course" which is about 10 -14 days on a Phase2 Trainers truck. If it has been more than 3yrs they may make you do Phase1 (30days) and then Phase2 (10-14days leasing / 40-60days company).

 

Appreciate the information,although I have driven for the last 20 years, just locally. Although I havent been in a tractor since Feb due to being layed off, and my present job is considered non driving (Hostling).
