i hear you roadkill!! jen was telling me that in another thread people were giving a person crap over asking a question. she did something in her 4-wheeler (signaled then changed lanes or something not going fast enough for the truck in that lane) next thing she knew she had a grill in her mirror. the members responses were to the effect of "we are professionals we don't do that" BULL CRAP!!!! i have only been on the road a MONTH and have seen WAAAAY too many trucks nosed right up to the back bumper of 4-wheelers! while MAYBE these particular drivers making these claims dont tailgate 4-wheelers there are MANY MANY that do

I have to say this sounds like a great idea, although I have to agree with the comment that a number of trucks, possibly even more than cars, are going to get ticketed. Cars act as rudely as they do because they think they can do it quickly enough in comparison to a truck while trucks, when they drive aggressively, stand out like a sore thumb. What they need are more alternatively-colored highway patrol cars in areas where trucks drive in a great number. I know that costs more money, though, so I'm not holding my breath. Also, if more trucks had those cameras on them so that the companies could use them in defense of erroneous charges, that might help.
