I no longer work for Westside. They tell you they are family oriented, NO they are not. They tell you about all the miles you will get, NO you do not!!!They still owe me my last pay!!! In orientation I was told you had to work the weekends to get the miles!!!!NOT TRUE. Iwas in my truck three to four weeks straight and was sitting on weekends. They will tell you the only way to get the miles is to work seven days a week, go figure. I live in another state, and they are in Iowa, the only thing I can do to get my money at this point is to file in small claims court in Iowa, this is what wage and hour has told me. I have no idea at this time what to do so evidently this company could care less if you live or die!!!! You really need to do your homework when you apply at some of these companys. FORGET WESTSTDE!!!!!!!!!!THEY LIE!!!!:biggrin_2551:I also turned in everything they requested. I also was told I did not need to scan my last paper work by my dispatch manager and then was told by his manager that he told me the wrong thing; everything is computorized so they have the info but they will not pay me. :biggrin_2551:ANY ONE who:biggrin_2551: can offer me any help I sure could use it!!THANKS!!

Well for u to believe that they don't need anything scanned is wrong. Scan it anyway to c.y.a.! Always remember to look out for yourself first!

call the iowa dept of labor and see what the payment rules are . here in illinois you have to be given your last paycheck by 2 weeks of your last pay period .and I would also find a lawyer to seek a consultation ( the 1st one is free ) some lawyers will do a letter of intent ( take it to court ) for a small charge .this often scares them tointo sending it to you .

    mayflower Thanks this.

I called Iowa Dept. of Labor and they could not give me much information except maybe take them to small claims court. The bad thing is they are in another state and iam in another state just like a lot of drivers who live somewhere besides where the company is headquartered. Thanks for the info, appreciate it!!!!!Maybe a lawyer is the next thing.
