I does not matter if you are a Christian or an Atheist, the right to defend yourself and family in one the most basic human rights.

 

Anyone who wants to carry a gun in thier truck, learn the transport laws for each state. There is not a state where you cannot legally transort a handgun. It's legal every state, but the HOW is different for every state. WI - unloaded and encased and the ammo can be in the case, just not in the camber or a loaded mag in the gun. I Open Carry all the time and in my vehicle, LEO has seen me and smiled. Open Carry in a vehicle is not a crime, its a forfeiture.

Permits? Someone posted that a permit is only goo in the state that issued it does not know what they are talking about. With FL and UT non-residents permits, you can Conceal Carry in 38 or more states. Many states you can Open Carry in. Several states will be going Constitutional Carry this year and the next,to join VT, AZ and AK.

I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Are you so sure that the swords spoken of in Luke are swords of steel, and meant to shed blood?

He, our Christ Jesus, shed His own blood - as an example to us.
That example was not to shed the blood of another in the defense our own 'innocence', but to shed our own in the defense of Truth and Righteousness.

What law book you been reading

 

I have spent 9 years in the Army. I am VERY femiliar with weapons and how to use them properly etc. I own a few weapons and have noticed the only time there is an issue with a person carrying a weapon in public is the public getting nervous and calling the police on you. If you are breaking a law regarding carrying in public you go to jail. If you are not breaking any laws by carrying in public the police will cite you for disturbing the peace and if they want to be a jerk about it take you to jail. So just because you are legal does not mean you can show off your weapon to the general public and get away with it.

 

I can't state the law verbatim since I usually don't memorize statutes, but I'm in CDL school and our instructor informed us it was against federal law and they have the statute posted in the break room.We are an industry sanctioned by federal regulations and possessing a weapon is a violation.

The website posted for reference is for personal property not in a company owned and/or owner operated commercial vehicle.

 

He is blowing smoke up your rear. There is no federal law regulating the transport of firearms in a CMV. It may be against company policy but not the law. So they can fire you but your not going to jail as you have broke no law. The only thing that regulates your transport of a firearm in your vehicle is state law. So figure out what the requirements are in whatever state you are in for transport and you are good to go.

For me 33 states recognize my FL carry permit. the other states i meet there laws. most want it in a locked container out of reach of the driver with the ammunition separate. Some states open carry is legal.

But you are legally allowed to transport a firearm in every state in the us in a vehicle or cmv. And those signs at the terminal mean jack ####. You can be asked to leave but your not breaking a law. ( a few states do have requirements for such signs making them a legal warning but they must meet certain font requirements and have the statute printed on them).

Concealed means concealed if its on your person no one should know if its in your vehicle no one should know unless you ran your mouth. (also note some states require you to advise the officer there is a firearm in the vehicle.

Sigh - I am SO tempted to paraphrase Jacob McCandles. "I'm going to kill the next man who says that."

I defy you - or anybody else - to find one law that says it's illegal to carry in a CMV, much less a truck. There are some states that are run by people who rightly fear for their lives - so carrying HANGUNS is illegal. For ANYBODY. Nothing to do at all with trucks.

So, at risk of being rude... quit barking through your hat and do some research.
