    • Have recent verifiable driving experience or completion of qualified truck school
    • Have a valid class "A" CDL
    • Be at least 21 years of age
    • Pass a DOT physical, or provide your own that has been completed in last six months
    • Pass drug screen
    • Have a stable verifiable work history
    • Have an acceptable driving record
    • No DWI/DUI convictions in the last five years
    • No drug convictions in the last five years
    • No felony convictions in the last five years
    • No careless or reckless convictions in the last five years

    Tmc is still correct except its .30cpm or 23%, not .26cpm

    Company: Maverick Transportation Flatbed Division
    CDL TRAINING: I do not think so (if someone knows better about this, correct this) but has training for each division to the best of my knowledge
    Training Costs/Expenses: personal expenses
    RECENT GRADUATES: Experience nice but not essential
    Length of CDL training: N/A
    Permit before training?: Must have CDL and graduate from school before training. (I think this is true)
    Pay or advances through CDL training: N/A
    Length of finishing/mentor training: Minimum of 21 days if do not have experience for the division you are joining
    Pay through finishing/mentor training: $450/week paid through orientation and training
    Home Time during Training: Depends on where your trainer lives, Maverick tries to route you and/or your trainer home every weekend
    Starting pay: .33/mile, .36/mile @ 3 mo., .42/mile @ 6 mo. (for flatbed division if a total rookie) - otherwise .40 - .42 cpm with .01 cpm raise at 1 year and 2 years
    Approximate time to solo: Depends on YOUR skills - minimum of 21 days.

    Requirements

    You must be at least 23 years old. Your hiring area, driving record, job stability, and job references must match up with Maverick's requirements and will be evaluated when you apply with us.
    Experience is nice but not essential. We offer flatbed training. During training, we will teach you the proper securement techniques required of a flatbed driver. Our extended training program is available to those without flatbed experience or to those who might need extra flatbed training.
