Or you could just yank out the dash and put it back crooked so it matches the valve knobs!

As I mentioned much earlier, yes, these screw on as I found out for myself shortly after I wrote the original thread, thus the follow up reply. There are no pins. Simply turn it to the left and start spinning it and it will come off the shaft which interestingly enough, has threaded grooves on it that also hints that it screws on.

I just can't handle much more of this. There is just too much screwin' and shaftin' in this thread!

Until I read this yesterday.....,Today I noticed the tractor brake is straight up & down,trailer knob is crooked...,and yup,NOW IT BOTHERS ME.....Thank you,thank you very much.....

I stand corrected again. I never had one with threads but then again I ain't paid much attention. I just know all the replacements I seen had pins with them. Maybe that's how they get by the patents.
At least now there are more trucks running down the road with the writing right side up. Keep your eyes on the road.
