    As I have 4, count them, 4 DUI's on my record, how many of you think I can get a truck driving job AND drive in Canada?:biggrin_25524:

    There was a guy in my class that had 2 DUI's in the last 10 years ago that couldnt get a job.

    Depends if they check your record in the states. I go to Central America and other places on surf trips every year and rent car to get around. We drive like complete and utter maniacs, usually destroying the car or totaling it! I have racked up so many tickets and actually one fake dui. Once went to jail accused of steeling our rental car, but that got sorted out. (p.s. don't go to jail down there its not nice!) So anyway point is I have a nice clean license here in the states so I am sure it is possible to go to another country and have a nice clean license there.
