    Hi everyone,

    Smoke two joints?

Really though, if you can't handle a test, how are you going to handle a loaded truck in bad weather and rush hour traffic with a dispatcher screaming at you because the load is late and your wife is mad because you did 14 hours on duty yesterday and did not have time to fix her car?

No worries. This is just the beggining.
As the post above states, there is lots of other stuff to contend with. Getting the license is the easy part.

    You'll do fine.

You should be just fine. Class B is pretty simple to obtain. It's not like the are testing you to parallel park a 53' trailer. I have faith in you!

I'll take a new driver that is nervous than a ####y SOB that thinks they knows it all. You will be fine, nervous = cautious, a good trait for a driver.

when i got my class B cdl i was scared to crap. i dont know why, i was only 19 though. i was so nervous my leg was shaking as i was letting the clutch out. its probably a good thing i didnt start driving tractor trailers. i want to now though, in due time though.

to the OP just take really deep breath's and in your mind envision the truck parking itself. i dont know about your state but in MA you can get out of the truck and pull up 3 times. personally i dont understand that rule because you should be encouraged to get out as many times as you see fit because out in the real world the difference could mean you running over a kid or smashing a car, not rolling over a cone.
