"Check with your recruiter as to what fleets are available in your area."
Good luck with this one! You'll find most people will tell you that the recruiters will tell you just about ANYTHING to get you in the door. But don't believe me, ask around. Ever heard of "Used Car Salesmen"?

I realize that you're having an unusually tough time. Why you're having it I really don't know. But I'll stand by the advice I gave.Last edited: Feb 18, 2011

Ever walk into the office while waiting for a load and see the desk jockey playing games? Sets my teeth on edge, but that's me looking from my narrow perspective.

With you living in Florida, I highly doubt you will have any options other than the Van fleet. Speaking to our other flatbed drivers, I don't think any of us have really gone to Florida with a flat, and that would make them reluctant at best to take you on the fleet. Reefer is mostly western states on specific dedicated accounts (Costco comes to mind immediately).
I used to be a mechanic at the Ocala terminal. Still one of my favorite terminals in the system....wish I actually got to get there on occasion, but the closest I seem to get is the Atlanta area.tazaaa and Texas-Nana Thank this.
