Im in Zanesville, OH at the Loves doing a 34 hour reset, I'm 5.5 hours from the Receiver (not to happy thats still that far but oh well)


Drove 658 Miles today and had 3 Freakin fuel stops lol, then the rain started to freeze on my truck, the entire front end of my truck was covered in ice by the time I got here, I even had to run the engine fan for the last 45 minutes till I got here because the grill was covered in ice so the engine was starting to get hot!

Time to relax!

Well I got up and of course just as I exected the temp didnt go up to 60 and melt all the ice


So Since 68 is bad enough when dry and with a light load, and the DOT road condition map allong with the advice from the CB and drivers on here, I decided to let W/S pay the $137 Toll so I could take I-70 across PA, the TP was GREAT, but all the way to it SUCKED

I even tried to call the "on call EMERGENCY phone numder" you know the after hours dipatch number....and as ALWAYS no answer so I just send a QC message to my dispatcher to let her know about the reroute. I didnt want to do it but I could either risk the load not makeing it there or have it be a day late..OR pay a little toll and Git R' Done!

So I delivered the load, and got another one I though was going to be a nice quick run.....not so much. After I unloaded I still had 5.5 hours left i could drive and the shipper was only 1.5 hours away, so I flew on up there (its SOOO much more fun to drive MT after being heavy for a while) then sat there in line for HOURS waiting to be loaded.....I have 7 HUGE 5,000lbs rolls of paper. I put 3 straps in there just to make myself feel like I "sercured it" haha like they'll stop them from moveing haha

Anyway so since I got screwed out of a few hours on my 14 I had to haul but to get to the ONLY TS between the shipper and VA lol

I'm not parked in my least favorite TS in the country, the TA in Jessup MD. BUT at least I made myself feel good when I nailed this blind side back haha, usually I look like an idiot even though I know how to do it, just becuase I know or at least think everyones watching, but this time I KNOW they were all sitting there watching little ol me come in and nail it! I'm so proud of myself. I rather impressed myself at the shipper today as well, but that was just a really LONG straight back so no biggie there.


Anyhoo, im EXHAUSTED and still have 30+ threads to catch up on before bed then hopeing a hot shower in the morning better be for $10....

Then once I deliver in NC tomorrow DH back to conover then I'm going to go home for my 10 hour break since I'll be out of hours and I need to pay me rent, since for somereason very FEW ts's have Mail boxes.....arg
