Well i should have looked at the website before i made the previous post. Y'all do have the type of trailers that i am interesed in. Just wondering about the availability of the loads, i checked out the load board that is posted on the web and there is alot of flat and drop deck loads, that is why i am wondering about the availability of loads that i am interested in.

I also noticed the two other trucks that were in the pictures, not seeing alot of trucks available, which could be a good thing or that y'all don't keep alot of truck to lease out. Just wondering how that works when someone is interested in employment with you.

The load board that you can see is our brokered freight. It is the stuff that we can not cover with our trucks. We don't have Lease Purchase trucks in our Heavy Haul fleet untill they pay off. As for available trucks, we are getting more in March we have none available. We rarely get trucks back so the only ones available most of the time are the ones we buy but we plan on getting 5 a month.

Teams can work for us but we don't have alot of "team freight" you can of course be more productive as a team. We do not put teams in lease purchase trucks except husband and wife teams. We have trucks available now 2008 T660's and one 2007 T600.

That is exactly what I was wondering,,husband/wife..
I dont have anough open deck experience yet, (90 days), and my wife doesn't have her CDL, yet.. So, it will be a while for both of us to come over but I may be coming over sooner.

So, you feel that a Husband/Wife team can make money with Sammons? Do you have any Husband/Wife teams now? Would love to talk to them if so..

Thanks and have a great day!

The concept and mechanics of this lease/purchase are quite interesting. I had read about something like this in another thread, with another company. I actually thought it was too good to be true, so I didn't investigate further. This makes me want some more information.
