I wouldn't call it that.
I have mixed reviews of MotorKote. I have never put it in my big truck. But did buy some. I had a dry knock at start up in my Jeep. I poured motorkote in it & the dry knock has disappeared.... 2 years later & still no dry knock.
But then I put some in my Korean made van & the motor tossed a rod bearing about a month later.... I'm primarily blaming that on cheap Korean made metals though. -
How much did you use in your jeep? 4 or 6 cyl? I've got the same thing going on in my chrysler van.
-
kinda like STP oil treatment?(do they make that stuff anymore?).
-
6 cylinder.
They have an application guide on the bottle. And you don't need to buy the gallon bottle. You can buy smaller bottles at Meijer's I think.outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
I'm more interested in this moly dust stuff.
-
The only way your going to get that FLD to run properly is with about 2 pounds of saw dust.
-
Really! Dang I'll do that first thing in the morning before I leave...
REDD Thanks this. -
