I think the fracking process opens fissures in the rock which allows the nat gas to escape. If your well aquifer is near the fracking field, nat gas can migrate into your tap water and as a result you can ignite your tap water. The well water isn't drinkable even for livestock, filled with chemicals used to lubricate the drilling process.I wouldn't want them drilling near me for any amount of $.They also store reclaimed water laden with chemicals in open air pits, where it leaches into the ground and evaporates into the air that you breathe. The drillers are exempt from EPA clean air and water rules. If you dumped the stuff in the ground that they do you would be arrested fined and put in jail, but because they have big money lobbyists, they get laws passed that allow them to get away with murder.
Ok, get ready to pummel the new guy..

With over 200 wells drilled in the county alone, no new reported issues.we are not glowing up here yet. As for the message boards, what are some of the better ones? I have been surfing alot of the free previews. is 30 days the norm on invoice payments?
-
Getlaoded.com is one load board that I have looked at. I'm not sure about the 'norm' on invoice payments. Some brokers are set up to pay quicker than that from what I have heard.

I'm sure not gonna pummel ya. I'm gonna support ya. I love it when somebody grabs the bull by the horns and says "I'm gonna do it my way". Ok a few suggestions. Getloaded.com I found to be a pretty decent loadboard. They have a credit score there and I wouldn't haul for anyone with a score less than 95. Yeah yeah I know somebody gonna say that don't mean nuthin. Maybe not but I never got burned. I also found Vessage.com pretty decent. They got a lotta freight. I pulled a reefer and did as good with'em as anybody. CH Robinson may be a bunch a jerks with van freight and flatbed but I did some business with them with my reefer and can't complain. You will have to be patient and build a relationship with brokers. A little off subject here but I have a friend who has been doing business with the same two brokers since 1989. Pulls a reefer, one loads him out of this area the other loads him back. Believe me he does well. When everybody else is raisin hell about rates he just keeps on truckin and gettin paid. Good Luck to you.
