Unfortunately there are a lot of inconsiderate ###-tards out here. Really, the nerve of you interrupting him while he was doing his log. LOL

Just finished dinner. Made some Kelbasa (sp?) and some mac&cheese. It's so nice out tonight. I'm sitting at a rest area on I95 in VA. Sitting at on a park bench with a nice cup of Joe - watching the cars go by. Thank God for some warmer weather. I've really missed doing this!
Only 30 miles to my customer in the morning so an easy relaxing night.
Get out of your truck- enjoy the weather!
Speaking of weather Ck out my latest video...." I double dog dare ya!"http://YouTube.com/daveb1092000 -

Man - back to the snow and Ice........this suxxxxx!
Got a load out of Virginia and ran it to Fulton, NY. Low and behold, I get just north of Binghamton, NY and it's a friggen white out. Ran about 20 mph from Binghamton all the way to Fulton. Dropped my load and couldnt find an empty...just my luck! Have a preplan that I need a wooden floor trailer. So bobtail in the blinding snow (that'll make your ##### pucker) to our Weedport yard and BINGO there is an empty.
Now I got to run 140 miles empty in 30 t0 40 MPH winds to Niagara Falls to get my load. I make it and in record time I am loaded and rolling towards Buffalo. Ran down to Angola Service Center and shut it down for the night. I was worn slap out from the snow today.
Got up this morning and headed towards WI. The sun is coming up - no wind - great cup of coffee and I was rolling hard. Well that is until I was about mid-Ohio and the crap hit the fan again. Snow, Snow and more Snow. Back down to 30 mph again until I hit just past Elkart, In and it changed over to just rain. Ran through In and hit Chicago with little to no problems. As I approached WI line kept hearing the weather was getting worse the further north I went. Hadnt seen anything except rain but that's all I was hearing. The was told there was an accident around the 322 and that it was white out conditions from Milwaukee north. Great - exactly where I need to go. Was trying to get to our terminal in Ritchfield and shut down there.
The closer I got the more everyone was saying had bad it was just above Milwaukee. I need to do a reset and being at the terminal would have been best - but have fought the weather enough in the past few days - hit exit 325 and took the back way to the Pilot so to miss the back up for the accident.
So here I sit - it's spitting ice now and looks like Ritchfield is getting pounded so I guess this was a good spot to stop.
My load doesnt deliver until Tuesday at 11:30 in Neenah so I have plenty of time. Can get a reset and still have time to deliver this load early. Unless my dispatcher needs to be run. I'll give him a message in the morning and see how it goes.
If you in WI or running 80/90 East - be careful out there!Hitman Thanks this. -
I just came down from WI today and am in OH now, I know exacly what you mean, I ran through that same weather...well just in reverse order lol. And I'm also doing a reset haha

Let me see if I can dig them up.
It's really just two 2x4's cut the width of the sleeper and wedged in resting on the track for the upper bunk - since I dont have a top bunk. We can't bolt anything to the truck so I just had them cut to fit really tight. I added padding on the end of each to ensure they dont scratch the interior. Then I had the wire shelving cut to fit the width also. It's attached to the 2x4's and all of that is held in by bungie cords. Beleive it or not - it's tight as crap and hasnt moved an inch in the 5 month's I have had it in.
I have my microwave, (3) three drawer plastic containers for clothes and a milk crate that I use to hold some kitchen items sitting on it. The 2x4's give it the strength needed.
