    Hello everyone.

I have been lurking this forum for awhile now and gaining as much information as I can although I want to get a couple of opinions on the matter.

I am going to a community college this summer for trucking driving school (6 weeks long). When I graduate I want to find a decent truck company to ride OTR with temporarily until I can get a local job. I don't like the idea of teams since I don't have anyone I know and I've heard some stories on here.

So far I have considered Roehl, Werner, and U.S.A. Truck. CRST and C.R. England just don't work from what I've heard. Can anyone tell me of any other companies that hire recent graduates?

Also, hometime is the most important for me so if you know anything about that, I would appreciate it. I have talked to recruiters of all companies mentioned but I'd rather have some experience give me a hand. I meet all qualifications and I have a clean record.

Thank you in advance for helping me out, I look forward to getting on the road. Take care.

Try May Trucking and if your within 120 miles of Myrtle, MS try watkins Shepard or try KLLM, only three companies i really recomend. After those is just the least bad to the worst Big Companies....

Thanks for the info, I am going to look into all of those now. How much OTR experience do you think I need for a local CDL job?
