Ya know, I actually wanted a 730 or a 630 before I found my T6. Now I'm glad I got the KW instead. Getting in/out an oily-slick 25-pound rocker arm assemblies on 5&6 cylinders tippy-toeing on a steer tire was a biotch even in my truck. W9 would have been even better from maintenance prespective.

Sitting at a truck stop surfing the internet is more relaxing than my 2-week long vacation pretending to be a diesel mechanic. Such is the life of a cheapskate O/O, I guess. On a bright side, now I know how to change brake shoes and injectors on a CAT, and I got terrific mileage all way from Commiefornia to NJ.

    Terrific mileage on a C-15?

    You did something wrong.

Honestly, it was a little nerve wrecking, though.

You remember the first time you ever worked on a car, and you almost have heart attack from the slightest noise and vibration driving it afterwards, thinking you fawked up and you were gonna crash and burn? I had that experience all over again.

I've assembled a bunch of gas engines, but the fact there's no spark plugs was the limitation of my diesel engine knowledge until the last week.

Sshhh!! Don't tell anyone my secret!

The bill says 9500 lbs, though I think it may be a bit heavier looking at the arch on my trailer and the suspension gauge.

I pulled 3600 pounds for Lauren last week. 109 miles grossed $800

Nice! People in Stockton office are awesome.

Incidentally, this CA-NJ load also came from Stockton office.

But can you still go up hills faster than 80% of loaded trucks on the road like mine? LOL

I "tried" running the engine with one injector, but that didn't work very well.
