1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I would call Mercer or Landstar if I were in your shoes. Can't speak from personal experience my self, I've never pulled for them, but have seen good things about them on the posts here. Maybe look in the good trucking company posts.

I doubt Mercer would hire anyone with out exp. I doubt any one would. You really need to have some one with you to learn. this is not something you learn while doing it yourself. it is very dangerous. do you have any exp in trucking?

CRST was the only company that came to mind for no exp... landstar i think requires 1 year exp with the equipment you are going to use

Well we don't know what kind of experience he has so let's not jump into judgement. Another option you have is to find a small local carrier that is willing to act as your "broker" and they keep a percentage for allowing you the right to use their authority. You might find one that will dispatch you regularly (which it seems is what you're looking for) or you might be able to find your own loads and they will just handle the invoicing.

And above poster is right that most of the big companies that work primarily with O/O's require a year or two of experience.
