People are not joking about DAC report content.

Wonder if anyone's ever hit a trucking company with a libel lawsuit for a false dac report? Man, that would be soooo sweet, find some ambulance chasing attorney and rake a scummy trucking company through the coals!

 

Most of the time,

if you don't screw up- your dac will be fine.

Unless, you chose to work for a real bottom feeder !!!!

 

I was happy when I sent for my free copy. All was well. Nothing shocking. They told the truth and that's a fact, Jack. Open invites to come back, (subject to review, which is let us look at your record now) and I just am glad and relieved that I didn't burn any bridges behind me.

 

i hope that you realize you have the right to dispute ANYTHING said on your DAC...and i would.....

how you go about it and what you say is up to you..

one way is to (maybe) say that you worked everyday you were REQUIRED to work and that you had some disagreements with the dispatching office that you thought were cleared up.

to say your dispatcher was an arse or "was getting even with you" will not work, as it sounds like sour grapes...

it absolutely DOES NOT surprise me that the person in charge of submitting to DAC just flagrantly did so...you know, you can try and call the company as well, usually the safety dept handles the DAC reports, and maybe try to convince that person of your problems with that dispatcher....maybe you won't be the only one doing this, and they will see a pattern of deceit from that person....and write up a more favorable DAC.

My company is the same way, so I believe his story. All it takes is one vendictive person with the ability to fill a DAC report out.

You have rights to fight the DAC and then the company has to prove the allegations or it gets removed.

 

Glad I left on good terms from my former employment.

Sadly" I think the only thing that will change this DAC garbage, is when some Driver that has been ruined" by it; make's the new's by going Postal! on that place. Maybe then...someone will (with the power-who care's about in-justice)...(yea" rite!) can shine a light" on the Dac Parasites! and the Carriers that use them! IMO.

Man, was he ever a fuse waiting for a spark! Now, look what happened...all these innocent office people injured.....we really need to take guns away from everyone and make more regulations to rein in these renegade truckers!
