Please try to remember Tandems is spelled Tandems. You might look better spelling it right. No offense.

I shouldn't say this but I'm going to anyways, I smell a rat in here, if you were to sit and correct all of our spelling and stuff you would go crazy, I would just leave well enough alone, we all have lwarned to over look the spelling for exampple the "Experiance" that one really good driver on here put in the title of his thread that gets hundreds if not pushing a thousand hits a day, so I think I would just drop the speling isue befoe it git ot if han. As to them calling drivers on non reported issues: I did a lot of local work when my regional run had no freight, so I saw many different trailers daily. I picked up one at La Z Boy that had both tires on the front left axle flat spotted so badly that the steel cords were showing. I called Missoula about it, spoke to the tire shop and he told me there would be an investigation as to why it wasn't reported. However, at La Z Boy they do have a guy that spots the trailers into and out of the docks, so it could have been him that did it, but it looked kind of old. I ended up limping it back to the SFS shop to be repaired immediately and he told me that he would have Art note the tires for when they made their way back to Missoula for retreading or whatever they do with them....Also, when I picked up trailers that had major safety issues that needed repair, I also called the safety department to advise them there were unsafe trailers out there....

I'm not a driver but hope for my wife and I to run teams together soon. Can you tell me what flat spotted is and how you can ruin trailer tires? Thanks for the info folks!

Flat spotting is caused by draging the tires. Which creates a flat spot on the tire so its no longer round.
