Alright man will do! I'll be pulling out of the Road Ranger in Waterloo in a few minutes, dropping my empty in Storm Lake, and heading to the terminal.

I was the same way with that Target up there, both of the gals in the office greeted me with a smile when I checked in which is a rarity at most warehouses! I got my new KW on Thursday and so far I am really impressed with it. I haven't really been able to gauge the pulling power or MPG yet since every trip I have been driving into a headwind. It handles great on snow & ice , found out that little tid bit of info on my drive up to Hopkins on Monday night.

husker, congrats on the NEW KW I hear they handle better than the Pete's but that remains to be seen, better mpg's for sure. :biggrin_2554:

hawk, well I guess we can all drive the wheels off of these pete's, if your coming out of yours in 4 months, then with 450000+ on 634 I should see one by fall.

    be safe out there

I was disappointed to learn today that I didn't have any bad shocks (looked like the rear drives were leaking), the 386 just naturally rides like ____! also I made the mistake of asking about clutch brake adjustment on my truck. They said the clutch brake was fine, but the freeplay was out of whack. Now I have all kinds of freeplay, and a super touchy clutch with a much shorter working travel, without an obvious distinction between stage 1 and 2. I stalled her trying to pull out of the fuel island in Dakota City, lol.

I'm Glad I held out for a better load today. I got one ready to go out of there for 0100 Monday at my usual Symga Harrisburg delivery 20 min from the house. I'll even get two whole days off before delivery!

Everyone they were definitely working over the fresh sheetmetal in the shop today. When are we gonna get away from this DPF/urea/EGR BS and start getting glider kits in?! I guess you can't lease a glider eh?

Oh BTW we're switching to Transflo trip document scanning. Drivers at the terminal today, such as myself, were briefed on the proceedures.

Have a good one everyone and be safe.

I think we need side stacks, chrome drop visors (for us vertically challenged), and W9 mirrors (big truck style) on all the new KW gliders too. Should I drop this in the suggestion box?

Once you guys are seasoned veterans around here you will get their true feelings of hoods & and a motor that is yellow! Andy was saying he wishes they could have kept the old Columbias with Detroits in them, he said they had very little problems with the other than being a Freightliner. Least we're not driving garbage that is being held together with duct tape & bailing wire. @bbechtel, do you ever get down through the Great Bend yard much? If you need something fixed that Sheldon thinks is ok have Scott down there look at it, he's pretty easy to work with & does really good work. I saw that Transflo packet in the drivers room on Thursday when I was up there and briefly skimmed over it. Doesn't seem terribly complicated. It is going to be a pain in the keester for guys who only do short haul, you're constantly pressed for time and now one more thing to add to the mix. Guess if it cuts down on our overhead so we can geet a profit sharing check I'm all for it.

    bbechtel16 Thanks this.
