I am peace with the world again. Got a new SIM and can now get online AND was able to buy the cable to hook up tv to dish at wallyworld AND I'm waiting on a load going to Florida. No snow and ice in my future for a couple of days.

Am getting closer and closer to that decision. Even if I have to give up some of my present "comforts", just getting tired of being mad a lot of the times. Am worried tho about actually having to rte myself instead of being told to.

NO he doesn't miss central EVER lol...both of us are really happy with Motor west! No company is perfect but Central just had to much wrong with it, all the guys over on JJ's old thread saying how wonderful they are will find out the hard way!:biggrin_25523:

Pan you are gonna hate giving up on those comforts and getting a truck with no APU thats one thing I miss.

Its fun being able to route yourself lol.:biggrin_2559:

Well as much as I like what I am doing with werner walmart dedicated, I am about to make a change. I want to go back OTR, I miss seeing the whole country, and I can make more money OTR than on dedicated.

However I WILL not go OTR with Werner or a big company. I have had two job offers I am mulling over, both are for small small companies, no qualcomms or BS. The one I am leaning toward the guy has 5 trucks, he drives one of them and he does the dispatching so he knows what is going on out here, pays hub miles and just seems like he is running a quality operation

    JimBob24 Thanks this.

Alright Snowwy, talk to me about the meritor auto inflate system on tlrs. Have a leak that I can't find somewhere (only seem to have 50% success rate on leaks) and you can hear noise in the air tank that is cycling. Also, have a wire that goes to the control box that is broke. Don't know whether it is a pwr line in or a signal line out. Kind of suspecting its signal tho going to the light on the front of the tlr that lets you know you have a problem with the system. All tires and air bags are good so they aren't the problem. Figure it might be some of the fittings but.......I just don't seem to have the "hearing" for them. BTW, my solution for this fix was to just turn it off.

sounds like you did the right thing by turning it off. :biggrin_25525:

in all honesty though. i only have certain hobbies. and trailers isn't one of them.:biggrin_2559:

i've never hauled a trailer with any type of inflate system. and the only reefer i ever hauled was during my 4 week OTR training. after that it was all dry van. and the only thing aired up on any trailers i've used is the brakes.

i wouldn't know what to do with myself if i ever hauled a trailer with air suspension
