    Looking at CSA scores for some of my local competitors. One of the big boys has a alert for fatigue of drivers. Some of the others have alerts too. Don't know if it will help me but can't hurt me either.

    Gas went up 13 cents today, don't want to even look at the price of diesel. Think I will sit a while until the rates come up some. Guess brokers don't ever think diesel goes up.

    WH, gas jumped here last night.

    A couple of hubby's regular runs did go up. Hope the trend continues, with everything else. New rates started this week for hubby on those two.

    Just had a broker quote me a load for 1.28 a mile, he didn't like what I told him I needed per mile. He might up the ante did while back when couldn't get enough loads in. They are always fishing to find someone to haul it cheap.

    BHW, glad your rates went up that's becoming a rare occurrence anymore. It used to be if you provided good service they would do that. Anymore it's the dollar sign.

    Some Brokers are brain dead but thenI think that you must have to have a brain to be brain dead . Had one to tell me today that he need loyaty out of me that he was really busy and needed both trucks had done told them I would only have 1 truck for them but according to him I was not being loyal because I did not have both trucks on his haul I had some hauling to do that I had come up with for ourself and even called him asking for 1 more truck to help us .Some are really A holes

    Wow thats funny, hubby got almost the same lecture out of our broker. Well, we thought about bringing on another O/O under our MC# but with all the wait time lately and disorganization in that office, no way no how would we recommend him now. Two years ago they were much more on the ball.

    He seems to want to "Part Time" the brokerage, which explains why he's got three trailers sitting in his yard.
