What is a 3406 C??

    I know its a CAT, and probably similar to a B model, but what is the difference and what kind of power did they make and were they comparable to a B model as far as reliability? Im looking at a truck with this engine and it is a 1988 model truck, n I dont think it is the origional engine...any ideas or info? Thanks in advance
