    :biggrin_2553:Spoke with Cheryl this morning and set up the start date. I will be taking the pre-trip, backing and driving test in Dalton, Ga. Friday 2/25 at 10 am.
    I feel pretty good about everything while on the training pad and driving around. It does throw me off some when I'm told to start the pre-trip at the trailer.
    lol, I can go from front to back and not miss a thing, give me a little curve and and I stumble some.
    I've started doing my pre-trip at the trailer now.

    Kazak88, have you found out your Orientation date? If its the 7th i'll see you there. Or anyone else having that date chime in...

    I gotta call cheryl tomorrow. I have not heard back from her yet and she said it usually takes 4 days after the dot physical for her to get it back. so tomorrow is 4 days and I'll start bugging her then. I hope there is still space in the 3/7 class. The sooner I can start the better.

    I had mine on Saturday and she call around 9 this am. Maybe i'll see you there, it will be kind of like knowing someone some....

    PASSED WITH NO PROBLEM.
    I am now a card toting steering wheel holder. Now all I need is a few years experience to become a truck driver.

    Our truck was 4 drivers out of 4 passing.
    ***It was late/early this AM on this post and I forgot to mention this. I have been looking for Roehl trucks everywhere the last couple of weeks while we were out driving, on the way home and just out and about, not seeing very many at all. While on the last leg of my driving test route I came down hill around a curve and there she set at the light. A Big red tractor with ROEHL on the door, in a place where I would not expect to see them running. I said to my examiner, look they have sent a truck to pick me up.. lol must be a sign.

    Good Job Bossfrog. I take my exam on Tuesday. I don't know about Roehl, Cheryl has not gotten back to me about orientation. I called her Thursday and she seemed annoyed that I contacted her before she got my physical paperwork. I emailed her late in the day Friday to ask her if I should have the phycians office refax my paperwork if she has not received yet, but she did not reply. So at this slow pace she is working I don't think i'll make it into the 3/7 class. bummer.:biggrin_2552:

    Hey bossfrog I finally got confirmation from Cheryl today that they got my physical work. So i'm also scheduled for 3/7 in Ellenwood. See you there.

    That's good, i'll not be there sunday night but i'll be at the Howard Johnson Monday morning. I think they may have a company ride take us back and forth. Not sure about that, but thats what I've read that other companies do.
    Looks like Monday is team try out day with the orientation on Tuesday for those who pass.

    I'm having withdrawals from not being in a truck since Friday. I guess that will be taken care of in the next few weeks. Not enough time in the seat during school, having to swap out drivers and never getting further away than 50 miles.

    Hey, white GMC extended cab, i'll be the bald headed guy getting out... lol

    Best of luck. Good ppl there that road test there. Was/is my main terminal don't really have that anymore as lease. Plus this spring I move to somewhere around Lafayette, IN.
